False and Accurate Views of the American Revolution

Its quite startling to read such blatantly false statements of American history and there is no public reaction whatsoever; its almost like this guy was educated in Indonesia as a child.

Iftar Ramadan Dinner: "Islam has always been part of our American family," 9/11 Tribute to Islam

I don't think they are teaching American history and culture effectively. I've looked in vain for Islam among the Founders through the War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I, and World War II. However, I've discussed American history with my Islamist associates and they are under the same mistaken impression, that Islam has always been here. In fact, Muslims in America immigrated in larger numbers about the time that Obama was born but there is American history that pre-dates Obama. Its quite important to know and understand.

We are a country founded on a principle that attracted international seekers of liberty, and the rejection of foreign and outside influence to create a uniquely, and exceptional, American character. To the extent that we dilute uniquely American culture and character, the next generation fails to grasp what is so truly revolutionary about the American Revolution. Why did an international crowd flock to fight for the American revolution if it was not truly unique and exceptional?

The American Revolution attracted an international cadre of fighters willing to fight for liberty. Polish-born Jew Haym Salomon is known as a major, if not the major, financier of the American Revolution; Other fighters--Casimir Pulaski, Thaddeus Kosciusko, Friedrich Wilhelm Augustus von Steuben, Marquis de Lafayette--Polish, Prussian, and French respectively all played leading roles. The American Revolution was exceptional to the people living at the time. They grasped the uniqueness of the American struggle for liberty and independence which is a historical fact; now seemingly lost to the products of an internationalist, America is always wrong and arrogant, multicultural education.
