PHILLY MAN TOOK IT UPON HIMSELF TO QUIET CITY BUSES BY JAMMING CELLPHONES

Should the use of these devices be illegal? Why or why not?

NBC10 reports that according to federal law, use of cellphone jammers is considered a threat to public safety disrupting any other devices working on radio waves in the area. It is illegal to buy, sell and use these devices with jail time and up to $16,000 in fines as the consequence.

In this case, "Eric" recognized his error and said he would get rid of the jammer.
